We are suitable for playing at modern jive dances. My main hobby is modern jive dancing. Our varied repertoire is perfect for this type of dancing and we play a large number of the tunes which my local jive DJs play at classes and freestyle dances.
I know that some jivers prefer dancing to discos because some live bands have too many gaps between songs or only play a few styles. However, with us you get a mixture of songs from the 1920’s to this year’s chart music, and as long as all requests for songs are given at least a week before a jive dance we can keep playing most of the time without any gaps between songs. Also being a keen modern jive dancer I know what songs are easy and popular to jive to.
